Ghana‘s Central Bank has announced it is working on digital currencies.

In a statement, Ghana’s Central Bank announced that it was continuing its digital currency project and that the process was under way to avoid any problems. While many countries are trying to produce digital currencies through their central banks, especially in a short period of time, the work done by the Central Bank of Ghana on this issue has led Ghana to take a step forward among African countries.

While some other countries with a large number of cryptocurrency investors would not take such a step, in Ghana, where digital currencies are not attracting much attention, it is said that taking this step will benefit the country greatly in the future.

While the steps taken in the US and several other countries have shown a willingness to develop digital currencies, the number of countries taking steps to develop digital currencies in African countries is extremely small.
